Don't get anywhere near a Sumima or you'll get a nasty surprise. Half jumping, half gliding its way over the plains of Calypso, the land-going Sumima is thought to have evolved from a stingray-like marine creature.
Sumima seems to have a Polish (or similarly eastern European) background, but attempts to find out the meaning of or reasons for the name have as yet not yielded results.
